As part of a big data mesh transformation program, we are introducing a new data platform and a new data operating model. We are looking for a Learning & Knowledge Specialist to develop and manage a central knowledge base that enables data teams across the organisation to understand, adopt and effectively work with the new platform and ways of working.
You will translate complex technical concepts, processes and organisational changes into accessible, practical knowledge and learning materials, ensuring teams have the guidance and capabilities they need to become self-sufficient.

Werkzaamheden:

• Build the knowledge base: Develop and maintain a structured, accessible knowledge repository covering the data platform, architecture, standards, processes, roles and responsibilities.
• Develop onboarding journeys: Create role-based onboarding materials, learning paths, tutorials, how-to guides, FAQs and practical playbooks for data teams.
• Explain the new operating model: Translate data mesh principles, data ownership, data product management, governance and collaboration models into clear, actionable guidance.
• Enable knowledge sharing: Facilitate knowledge-sharing sessions, capture best practices and lessons learned, and connect experts across the data community.
• Drive continuous improvement: Keep knowledge resources up to date, identify knowledge gaps and improve learning materials based on feedback and adoption needs.

• A comprehensive, accessible and well-maintained knowledge base and training material repository.
• Clear onboarding and learning journeys for different data roles.

Your ultimate goal is to make knowledge accessible, accelerate onboarding and enable data teams to confidently embrace the new data platform and operating model.

• Experience in knowledge management, learning design, technical documentation or organisational enablement.
• Proven ability to develop structured knowledge bases and engaging learning materials.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to translate complex topics into clear, practical guidance.
• Understanding of data management, data platforms and preferably data mesh concepts, including data products, data ownership and data governance.
• Experience working in technology transformation or large-scale organisational change programmes.
• Familiarity with tools such as Confluence, SharePoint and digital learning platforms.
• Strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to work with technical experts and business teams.
