DevOps Automation Engineer Squad Sand (36 hours Utrecht)

We are looking for a DevOps Automation Engineer to strengthen the core of our team. You are a DevOps engineer that wants to automate because you dont like repetitive work. You collaborate with the team and work with other stakeholder teams in Rabobank to further develop our platform towards integration with our customer and automation portals through APIs. You seek actively for answers to find solutions in a complex enterprise environment.

As an Automation Engineer in our team you will be responsible for

• the build and delivery of our use cases that contribute towards the automation of our platform
• working with other engineers in and outside our team on new initiatives, research of new features, documentation and other duties that help to improve our services

• a bachelors degree in preferably Software Engineering, Computer Science, Networks Engineering, or another STEM related field OR be technically trained
• a high proficiency in speaking, reading and writing English
• excellent written and oral communication and presentation skills
• knowledge about and experience with Agile, DevOps, Lean and ITIL
• a passion for automating recurring tasks, tests, and security checks through CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps or Azure functions
• very strong scripting and automation skills including languages such as Python, PERL, PowerShell language and frameworks (e.g., Terraform, Python, JSON, PowerShell, Bash, YAML)
• public cloud providers (e.g., AWS / Azure)
• Identity and Access Management (IAM) systems (e.g., Azure AD, ADFS)
• integrating Compliance Controls and Audit into our builds
• experience with SSE solutions or some of the components

Our department and our team

We are squad Sand and are based within Engineering & Enterprise Technology (EET), Foundation 4 Tech, Distributed Networks department. We deliver Secure Service Edge (SSE) as a solution based on Zscaler technology for all Rabobank devices globally. Our platform secures access to web, cloud services and private applications regardless of the location our users or the devices they are using.

Our team contributes with our platform to the ZTNA transformation of Rabobank. Our services are becoming a more depending factor on providing secure application access over Internet. This load shift towards our services with the onboarding of all endpoints in Zscaler increases our administrative duties and requires us to integrate and follow the speed of the adoption through security automation. Our services fully reside in the cloud are mission critical and are 24/7/365 available.

Hybride: working from home is the standard within Rabobank, only for team meetings or when you need to collaborate with colleagues you are expected to come to the office the office location is in Utrecht (Croeselaan 18)
